It's only 2 months until European Auto Show (EAS) at Plaza Frontenac that benefits the Shriner's Hospital for Children. The Porsche Club of America is a sponser and it's a bragging rights deal to us to have as many Porsches at this show as possible. BUT, if your car is a one-shot wonder, save it for October 12th, when PCA is having it's second Porsche ONLY Car Show at the Kemp Auto Museum. Since I know you'll want to do both, here's how to do the first...download a registration form from www.stleuropeanautoshow.com and get it going!
If you've been to the EAS before, you know what a great show it is. At least 40 Porsches, 20+ Ferraris, BMWs, Bentleys, Benzes, Jags, Loti (?),....well, you get the picture. Lots of great European cars from present on back to preWar models. So back to the braggin rights, we would like to break the 50 mark this year to show our support for a super cause. As our current unofficial slogan goes: "We're not just pri*ks with cool cars; we're benelovent pric*s with cool cars."
Speaking of helping out, we have Charity Laps next weekend at the Carrera Classic over at Geteway internationl Raceway and a Poker Run coming up May 18. Both benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation www.ctf.org.
